Searching For Registered Holland Lop Bunnies For Sale

By Gary Snyder

Holland lop breeds originated from Netherlands which are currently becoming a more popular animal for pet or show competitions. These are the smallest lop eared breed coming in different colors which are classified as solid, without spots, and broker, with spots. They should be housed in a place with a lot of room space because of their playfulness and activeness.

New rabbit owners are usually recommended to have these as their pets because of their size and temperament. This is the reason why many people are finding registered Holland lop bunnies for sale to buy one. Here are some guides in finding a breeder in your area that is selling them.

Start searching for breeders in your area which sell them using the internet and obtain their contact information. Using the yellow pages as well as the local newspapers is possible in looking for advertisements placed there by them. Create a list of those you have found and gather more information on them to help in making a choice.

Ask recommendations from your friends and family members if someone they know is selling the breed yo are looking for. They may have purchased one or someone they know did and they could refer them to you. If the ones they recommended are not on your list yet then add them and gather more information on them too.

Do some background research on them including the number of years they have been breeding these rabbits. This will show they have the skills and experiences acquired from doing this for a number of years. They would not have last this long if they do not know what they are doing.

Check if they do breed pedigree ones or do not though having one is not essential unless you like to become a breeder as well. It is just fine not having pedigrees if you just like them as pets or if planning to join some rabbit show competitions. Joining one is possible if you have tattooed permanently an ear number and provide information such as birth date and class they wold enter.

The breeder should be willing to have one with you used in explaining the things that you must know regarding your future pet. Them offering a guarantee that the rabbits are healthy and are properly tamed is an advantage. If they have no interest to entertain the questions you have then it is probable that they are selling sick and not properly tamed ones.

Pet stores usually sell bunnies more expensively when you compare it to the prices the breeders have on their bunnies. They tend also to place male mature bunnies in the same cage together with females of various ages. Breeding could occur which can result in your new pet to die by having babies while still very young.

Inquire about their prices and compare it with other breeders to determine which of them offers a better deal. Though this is not the only factor you have to consider but only the last one if you have not yet decided using the other factors. And you must properly prepare to have one before finalizing the sale.
