Training your puppy can be a lot of hard work. Nobody likes to discipline a cute little dog. Owners seem to think they can't help it and they will grow out of. When you bring your puppy home, he may become nervous. It can be adjustment when adapting to a brand new environment. It is important to make him feel comfortable. Provide him with a comfortable area where he will be able to relax. Give him plenty of love and attention. He may yelp through the night. You need to give him attention, but don't spoil him.

You also need to find a name for the puppy which is not going to be too complex. This is very important because the dog needs to recognize the name from the beginning. If it is too long, it can be difficult to call him when you want to discipline him.

A veterinarian will give you advice regarding the basic eating habits of a young dog. This will vary from one dog to another.
